Role summary
This role involves supporting registered nurses in providing high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The post holder will deliver and monitor individual care plans, promote health, and manage risk. A key responsibility is to provide patients with 25 hours of meaningful activity weekly, co-facilitating therapeutic and diversional groups. - Physical Requirements
- Good health and attendance records, physically fit and able to undertake training in physical interventions
- Qualifications - Academic / Craft / Professional
- NVQ level 3 in care or able to demonstrate possession of equivalent experience / training.

- Good general education e.g., GCSE English and Math's.
- Training
- Evidence of training and experience of delivery of therapeutic and/or diversional interventions
- Experience of working a healthcare setting
- Experience of working with patients who display challenging behaviour
- Previous experience of working in a Forensic environment.
- Good verbal / written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and induct / supervise junior staff.
- Self-motivation.
- Open minded
- Committed to user involvement.

- Positive attitude and evidence of ability to encourage interests in patients.

Job summary
Under the supervision of a registered nurse participate in the development and maintenance of high-quality patient care through involvement in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
Main duties of the job
