Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Team Manager to join The Richmond Integrated Recovery Hub. The role involves providing clinical and operational leadership, deputising for the team manager, and carrying a reduced caseload as a care-coordinator/key worker. The successful candidate will support working age adults with severe or enduring mental illness in Richmond, working within a well-established multidisciplinary team.
Essential criteria
- Experience of research based/reflective practice, e.g. understanding and ability to use supervision to reflect on skills, attitude and knowledge and develop these by using evidence based practice
- Significant relevant clinical experience
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Experience as a preceptor / mentor

- Experience of Interagency working
- Experience of managing a caseload
- Experience of working in the community
- Training and Qualfiications
- Registered mental health/learning disability nurse (current NMC registration) or equivalent professional qualification
- Mentorship qualification
- Master's degree
- Skills and Abilities
- Able to provide quality care that is responsive to service user's needs, without close supervision
- Skills in clinical assessment/baseline mental health assessment
- Skills in risk assessment and risk management and crisis management
- Resilient: able to cope with difficult interpersonal situations.
- IT skills
- Skilled in supervision of others, and in providing critical and constructive feedback.

Job summary
A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Deputy Team Manager for The Richmond Integrated Recovery Hub, supporting the team manager to provide clinical and operational leadership to the team. The successful candidate will report directly to the team manager and deputise for the team manager when they are on leave. The successful applicant will also work as a care-coordinator/key worker and carry a reduced caseload.
The team provides care for working age adults who live in Richmond and experience severe or enduring mental illness., with care provided according to GP/PCN alignment. The team works closely with the Richmond Integrated Recovery Hub
The post sits within a well-established MDT that works alongside a separate single point of access team, early intervention service, primary care liaison and personality disorder services.
Main duties of the job
This post requires someone with drive, energy and a commitment to high-performance standards and the delivery of excellent services. The post holder would be joining a supportive Multidisciplinary Team, with regular supervision and opportunities to participate in service development.
