Role summary
Join an Outstanding Sexual Health Service as a LARC Specialist Nurse, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to support sexual health needs in Kent and Medway. You will use innovative thinking to increase LARC uptake, manage complex caseloads, and provide contraception and STI treatment. The role involves both independent and teamwork, including record-keeping, data reporting, and providing training to professionals.
Essential criteria
- Registered health care professional with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
Desirable criteria
- Faculty Registered Trainer FRT (CoSRH)
- Evidence (LOC) insertion and removal of subdermal implants and intrauterine methods
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within your area of practice/public health environment
- Experience managing complex caseloads and supporting/ mentoring others
- Qualification/Skills
- Non Medical Prescriber (NMP)
- Mentoring qualification

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable LARC Specialist Nurse to join our Outstanding Sexual Health Service.
Our team delivers high-quality evidence-based care to people to support their sexual health needs. You'll be part of an enthusiastic and passionate team dedicated to keeping people in Kent and Medway safe and well, now and in later life, by providing contraception, treatment for sexually-transmitted infections, and advice and support to maintain healthy relationships.

Main duties of the job
