Role summary
This role is for a Senior Therapy Assistant within the in-patient therapy team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at Bradford Royal Infirmary. You will work alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and other therapy assistants to provide effective therapy and rehabilitation for patients in a ward setting. The position involves assisting patients to improve function and return home safely after illness, injury, or surgery, and requires transporting equipment across the city for appointments. The service operates seven days a week, with weekend work as part of the routine rota.
Essential criteria
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Experience of working as a healthcare/ therapy assistant
- Experience, knowledge and awareness of patient care/need e.g. patient monitoring
- Experience of dealing with members of the public

The posts are based at the Bradford Royal Infirmary.
These posts will offer the successful candidates to work alongside a team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and other therapy assistants, providing highly effective therapy treatment for patients under the care of our in patient team.
