Role summary

This role is for a dynamic and passionate Health Visitor to join the Amber Valley Health Visiting Team. You will deliver the Healthy Child Programme to the 0-5 population, manage a defined caseload, and take responsibility for safeguarding children. The position involves developing therapeutic relationships with families, working with partner agencies, and identifying public health needs. You will also support and line manage skill-mix teams and mentor students.

Essential criteria

  • RN or RM
  • HV Qualification - Degree, Diploma or Certificate
  • Nurse Prescribing

  • Specialist Community Public Health Nurse Post registration study
  • Mentorship qualification
  • Experience and Knowledge
  • Knowledge of national + local health priorities and related publications
  • Able to demonstrate leading on evidence based public health activites

  • Actively working with families where there are safeguarding concerns
  • Able to demonstrate leadership skills
