- Expert knowledge of clinical policies, processes, guidance and best practice both locally and nationally

- Working knowledge in using operational tools and systems involved with providing care metrics: EPIC, Safe Care, Safer Nursing Care Tool (SNCT) etc..
- Extensive knowledge of infection control protocols and needs for different patient demographics
- Experience in working within patient flow, discharge performance and capacity management
- Strong clinical practice with the ability to utilise clinical knowledge to complete duties
- Able to make safe and sound judgements based on clinical knowledge and professional standards
- Highly effective and adaptive communication skills both verbal and written
- Able to facilitate and provide a clinical voice to influence best practice
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills and able to organise own workload and deliver high standard of work within time frame and conflicting priorities
- Able to interpret and analyse data relevant duties
- Able to write reports, identify findings and document appropriate judgement and actions
- Able to investigate and address complaints and issues of service performance
- Able to build and gain credibility and influence key stakeholders, including influencing clinical practice changes where appropriate
