Role summary
This role is for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistant Psychologist at Callington Road Hospital. You will assist with delivering psychological interventions and contribute to the development and evaluation of Inpatient Psychology as part of the Inpatient Transformation. Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistant Psychologist to work at Callington Road Hospital, assisting with the delivery of psychological interventions as well as contributing to the development and evaluation of Inpatient Psychology as part of the Inpatient Transformation, which aims to make admissions during a mental health crisis therapeutic and Trauma-Informed. We use Comprehend Cope Connect as our core model for delivering CBT-based interventions adapted for acute mental health needs. The job requires excellent interpersonal skills to work with service users and multidisciplinary colleagues, as well as skills to effectively organize and maintain data sets and managing a varied caseload. Experience of working on wards or with people experiencing acute mental health problems would be valuable.
The post-holder will join a supportive Inpatient Psychology team with opportunities to link with peers through team meetings, shared projects, and peer supervision groups. In addition, you can join the dynamic CPD network for inpatient psychological practitioners across the Trust. Opportunities for CPD will be available, tailored to the acute care pathway.
