Role summary
This role is for an experienced Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to work on a Bank contract in Watford. The post holder will be responsible for assessing care needs, developing and evaluating care programs, and managing a defined caseload of individuals with complex mental health needs. Essential criteria
- NMC Professional Registration
- RMN or Dip / BSc (Hons) in Mental Health Nursing
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
- At least 1 years post registration experience at Band 5 in a relevant mental health setting or if newly qualified will participate in the Trusts Preceptorship Scheme.

Job summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Community Mental Health Nurse, at Band 6 to work via a Bank Contract, based in Watford for our Community Adult Mental Health Team. You will be joining our Temporary Staffing Team within HPFT - Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder is required to take responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programs of care, and the setting of standards of care and management for a defined caseload of people with complex mental health and or social care needs. The Community Mental Health Nurse will be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team and will work collaboratively with internal and external partners and agents.
The post holder will carry out supervision, development and teaching of junior staff and/or students as delegated including mentorship and preceptorship roles.
