Role summary
The Wiltshire Talking Therapies Service is seeking enthusiastic and qualified High Intensity Therapists to join their expanding team. Key responsibilities
- Provide specialist psychological therapy assessments and treatments for clients referred to the NHS Talking Therapies service.
- Deliver specialist psychological therapy using the model specified by the NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression Manual.
- Provide professional and clinical supervision to other members of the team, including Trainee High Intensity Therapists, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and Assistant Psychologists.
- Communicate sensitive information regarding client assessment, formulation, and treatment plans.
- Receive regular clinical professional supervision from a qualified NHS Talking Therapies High Intensity Therapist.
Essential criteria
- Recognised/accredited post graduate level training in a psychological therapy
- Full accreditation with BABCP or eligibility for BPS/CPC and eligibility for BABCP accreditation.
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients within an NHS Talking Therapies service
- Experience of working with a variety of client groups and presenting problems
- Mobile with the facility to move quickly across a geographically dispersed area with limited access to public transport.
Desirable criteria
- CBT supervisors qualification or eligible to train as a CBT supervisor
