Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for aBand 6 or Band 5-6 Developmental - Community Mental Health Nurse in our Adult Community Mental Health Team based in Lichfield. The team in Lichfield is multidisciplinary and provides high-quality care for service users that experience mental health conditions. The team is part of the wider Integrated Mental Health Team covering Lichfield & Burntwood and links together for CPD events, supervision and partnership working.

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse who has a keen interest in working with this client group to provide a holistic overview and lead on the care and treatment of the person's journey through to recovery. The successful candidate will provide nursing leadership with the MDT, support junior colleagues in their development and facilitate student nurses in their training.

If appointed a Band 5-6 you will be supported to achieve a core set of competencies over a 12-month period. Upon successful completion you will progress to a Band 6.
