Role summary

We are looking for a band 8A Clinical Psychologist to join our Clinical Health Psychology team on a fixed term basis to cover the secondment of another member of staff to another service. We have 0.75wte fixed term sessions (27 hours per week) available for a fixed term 12 month period. The post will be split between our General Medical Psychology and Pain Management Psychology Services. There may also be opportunities to work in other areas of the specialty should the need arise.
You will join a dynamic, well-established, supportive Clinical Health Psychology team, which includes Clinical Psychologists and 2 CAAPs. The wider Clinical Health Service consists of posts which are embedded within multidisciplinary medical teams across the areas of Pain Management, Adult Weight Management, Rheumatology, Blood Borne Virus, Critical Care (ICU), Major Physical Trauma, Psychosexual, Functional Neurological Disorder and a General Medical Service, which accepts referrals for complex psychologi
