Role summary
This role is for a dynamic and motivated Senior Theatre Practitioner (Band 6) at University College London Hospitals at Westmoreland Street. The successful candidate will function as a Scrub Practitioner within the perioperative team, ensuring efficient and high-quality surgical services. They will deliver holistic, evidence-based care and contribute to the smooth running of the theatre department. The position requires at least 4 years' experience at Band 5 as a Scrub Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner, with a focus on Urology.

- Registered Nurse Part 1, 2 or relevant section of the register
- Registered ODP with Dip HE, NVQ 3, or City & Guilds 752
- Teaching course
- Accredited qualification in Anaes/Theatres/Recovery

Research Centre with state of the art facilities. WeCurrently have a vacancy within the Surgical Specialties Division.
We require a dynamic and motivated Scrub Practitioner with at least 4 years' experience at Band 5.
Working as a Scrub Nurse or Scrub Operating Department Practitioner you will be required to function effectively as a member of the perioperative team to ensure the provision and development of an efficient and high quality surgical service. You will need to deliver a holistic care package which is current, evidence based and effective. You will also have a broad knowledge and skill base including communication and team working skills, and be able to contribute to the smooth running of the theatre department.
