- Membership of Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain

Job summary
As a Band 7 Pharmacist , you will play a key role in the safe, efficient and patient-centred delivery of Outpatient Pharmacy Services.
You will provide clinical screening and checking of outpatient and specialist prescriptions, including HIV, chemotherapy and paediatric prescriptions, identifying and resolving medicines-related issues before dispensing. You will provide patient-centred counselling and medicines advice, including for patients using home delivery and out-of-hours collection services.
You will have an important operational role, monitoring KPIs, prescription turnaround times and the Prescription Tracking System (PTS) to identify delays, manage outstanding prescriptions and support timely patient care. You will also monitor the Outpatient Pharmacy mailbox and ensure queries are prioritised and actioned.
Working closely with pharmacy colleagues, you will contribute to improving patient experience, service quality and efficiency , using FFT feedback, complaints and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
The role also includes staff support and development, training, appraisal, SOP development, audit and quality improvement. You will deputise for senior colleagues when required and help shape
