Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join the Complex Needs and Later Life Psychology teams in East Surrey. The role involves providing high-quality, evidence-based psychological care for adults with complex mental health needs, frailty, and dementia. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, formulations, therapy interventions, and neuropsychology assessments. The position requires a full driving licence and access to a vehicle due to its community-based nature.
Essential criteria
- HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist
- Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology qualification or equivalent
- Experience of working with people from across the life span with a range of mental health issues and cognitive profiles.
- Experience across a range of psychological models including systemic, behavioural and individual therapeutic
- Driving License For community-based roles involving client visits it is essential to hold a driver's license and access to a vehicle

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Complex Needs and Later Life Psychology teams in East Surrey.
You will work closely with the local multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological care for adults of all ages who experience complex mental health needs and/or difficulties related to frailty and dementia. There is also opportunity to develop skills in neuropsychological assessment.
We offer a comprehensive induction programme, high-quality clinical supervision and a good peer support network to help you to settle quickly and develop in your role. There will also be opportunities for you to meet regularly with other qualified Psychologists across the Trust for CPD events and service development/transformation projects. We have established links with the University of Surrey Doctoral Clinical Psychology training course and welcome the contribution of Psychologists in Training.
You must have a full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the community element of this role and the large geographical area that this post covers.
