Role summary
This is a Band 3 Community Healthcare Assistant vacancy within the Ferndown District Nursing service. The role involves visiting patients in their own homes to provide clinical care, including wound care, phlebotomy, and extended skills after training. The successful candidate will undertake an in-house development program for extended skills and may be required to work Bank Holidays and some weekends. Access to a car and a valid driving license is essential.

Job summary
Band 3 Community Healthcare Assistant vacancy for the Ferndown District Nursing service.
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with good communication skills and a passion for caring for patients in their own homes.
Experience of clinical work in the community is desirable but training will be offered to the successful applicant.
There is an expectation that the successful candidate will undertake our in house development program for extended skills which will involve insulin administration, administration of other injectables and catheterisation.
Our Community Health Care Assistants are required to work Bank Holidays, pro rata, and may be required to cover some weekends.
