Role summary

This is a 12-month fixed-term Band 6 Rotational Clinical Pharmacist position at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. Key responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services and patient-centred pharmaceutical care.

Essential criteria

  • Master's degree in pharmacy (or equiv)
  • Professional registration in the UK as a Pharmacist through the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Able to demonstrate Continuing Professional Development to meet statutory requirements
  • Post-registration work experience as a pharmacist
  • The level of competency (clinical ability/ knowledge) necessary for the post
  • Understanding of hospital pharmacy and its future agenda
  • Accurate dispensing/ clinical checking skills
  • Knowledge of medicines legislation
  • Competent in the use of e-mail, word processing, spread sheets, PowerPoint
  • Has obtained or is able and willing to undertake postgraduate study for the Clinical Diploma
  • An enthusiastic and flexible team worker
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to be involved in developing services
  • Sound professional judgement
  • Able to create a rapport with the interview panel
  • Able and willing to participate in the out-of-hours service
  • Use of motorised transport and insured for business use will be necessary unless willing to come into residence at own expense when on call
  • Able and willing to work on weekday late duties, Saturdays Sundays and Bank holidays (on rota)
