Role summary

The position requires previous CT experience and involves working a variety of shifts to provide 24/7 service. The department is committed to advanced practice and supports professional development.

Job summary
The Radiology Department at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust employs a multi-disciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical staff, to provide high quality, customer-focused and user-friendly Diagnostic Radiology Service.
We are a friendly team with a great skill mix, which helps us support each other to provide patient-centred care.
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and well-motivated individuals, who are suitably qualified and registered with the HCPC.
Previous CT experience is essential and as part of the CT scanning team you will be expected to work a variety of shifts to provide a service, 24/7. York Hospital currently operates 2 Siemens CT scanners (Definition Edge and AS+),with the replacement of a third CT scanner, a Canon Aquilion One INSIGHT CTfor cardiac CT, in Autumn 2026. We also staff a mobile CT scanner (Siemens Go TOP) to perform lung cancer screening checks out in the community. The existing Siemens scanners will be replaced in Spring 2027 with 2 Siemens Xceed CT scanners.
