Role summary
This is an exciting 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join North Kerrier community therapy teams and the Newquay inpatient therapy team. The role involves working with a complex and varied caseload, covering conditions like orthopaedics, MS, MND, Parkinson's, amputees, falls, and frailty. You will be well-supported by experienced Band 6 and 7 therapists and nurses, with opportunities for joint work, shadowing, and monthly in-service training. The Trust encourages and supports further professional development through supervision and appraisals.
Essential criteria
- Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
- HCPC Registered
- IELTS unless qualification taken in English
- Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team and an understanding of roles

- Experience of working in a health care setting
- Experience of taking part in research/audit
- Good teaching/presentation skills
- Membership of CSP
- Knowledge and abilities
- Knowledge of client centred approach

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and creative Band 5 Physiotherapist to join North Kerrier community therapy teams, and also Newquay inpatient therapy team for a 12 month fixed term contract.
We are looking for a flexible, reliable person who enjoys working as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.
You will be working with a complex and varied caseload, covering a wide variety of conditions including, orthopaedics, MS, MND, Parkinson's, amputees, falls and frailty. Every visit and treatment plan are different, bringing variety and challenge to each working day.
You will be very well supported by our experienced and highly skilled team of Band 6 and 7 therapists and nurses across all teams, with opportunities for joint work and shadowing more specialist services, attending our monthly in service training. We full encourage and support training for further development identified in regular supervision and appraisals.
