Role summary
The HHCS Facilities Lead will be responsible for the operational delivery of high-quality, patient-focused facilities services across all HHCS-owned buildings, including Domestics, Linen, and Post, spanning three Trust sites. This role ensures services are delivered safely, effectively, and in compliance with national standards and Trust policies. The post holder will lead, motivate, train, and develop multi-disciplinary teams, establish effective working relationships with stakeholders, and manage risks to ensure continuous service improvements.

- Good general level of education

- H&S and food/allergen awareness
- Risk assessment experience
- Managing customer-focused services and staff
- Managing large staff groups across multiple sites and disciplines
- Previous NHS experience

- General management skills
- Financial management skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and reactionary tasks
- Experience of using a CAFM system.

Job summary
The post holder will act as the operational lead for the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused facilities services across all HHCS-owned buildings, including Domestics (hydration), Linen, and Post, spanning all three Trust sites (BNHH, RHCH, and AWMH).
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively, and in full compliance with national standards, Trust policies, and statutory requirements, contributing directly to patient experience, infection prevention, and staff safety.
The role includes leading, motivating, training, and developing multi-disciplinary teams to ensure they are competent, equipped, and supported to deliver consistent, high-quality services.
The post holder will establish and maintain effective working relationships with clinical teams, corporate services, contractors, and external partners, ensuring performance is monitored, risks are managed, and continuous service improvements are identified and implemented.
The role carries a significant safety and compliance responsibility, ensuring that all activities are undertaken in strict adherence to health and safety legislation and infection prevention and control standards.
