Job summary

We have

an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Mammographer in Buckinghamshire

Healthcare NHS Trust to join the Breast Unit at Wycombe General Hospital. You

will be responsible for participating in all aspects of the breast imaging

service across both screening and symptomatic settings, working as part of a

multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. The role involves

performing screening and symptomatic mammography, including tomosynthesis,

biopsies, vacuum-assisted biopsy (VAB), vacuum-assisted excision (VAE), and

lesion localisation using Magseed or RF tags. You will also support breast

screening mobile unit moves, assist with staff training, help organise

workloads, and take responsibility for your own clinical practice and ongoing

professional development.

Main duties of the job

As an

Advanced Mammographer, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic

development of the breast imaging service and contributing to quality

improvement initiatives through quality assurance programmes, governance
