Role summary

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Listening To People Administrator within the Quality, Safety and Patient Experience Directorate. The role involves providing administrative support for specific projects and across all Listening To People functions. The postholder will be the first point of contact for complaints and queries from the public and stakeholders. The base will be either Matrix One in Swansea or Beacon House in Cwmbran.

Essential criteria

  • NVQ level 3 in Business and Administration or equivalent qualification / experience. RSA Stage II typing / word processing qualifications or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in an administrative environment, including co-ordinating diaries/rotas and allocating tasks, as well as dealing with complex queries.

  • Experience of working in a Health Service environment.

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Quality, Safety and Patient Experience Directorate, Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust, for a Listening To People Administrator. The post is full time 37.5 hours on a permanent basis in our newly implemented structure. The base will be at either Matrix One - Swansea or Beacon House - Cwmbran. To be confirmed on appointment. Please note that the job description is subject to change owing to the introduction of the new Listening To People regulations.

Main duties of the job

Provide administrative support on specific projects within the Listening To People team, liaising directly with the Listening To People Coordinator.

Be the first point of contact in receiving and registering complaints from the public and any queries or requests for information from both internal and external stakeholders.

Provide administrative support across all of the Listening To People functions, providing opportunities for the postholder to gain a wide knowledge and experience base.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
