Role summary

The Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust is seeking a highly organised and proactive Clinical Effectiveness Administrator to join their Clinical Effectiveness Team. This role supports clinical governance and quality improvement functions, contributing to safe, effective, and high-quality patient care. The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support across key Clinical Effectiveness programmes, including Learning from Excellence, Patient Safety Alerts, and Clinical Audit. This fixed-term opportunity has the potential to become a substantive role.

Essential criteria

  • GCSE in English and Maths Grade A-C

Desirable criteria

  • Nationally recognised IT qualification
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative and/or facilitative environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of providing secretariat support to meetings
  • Experience of minute taking at Committee Meetings
  • Experience of working within a healthcare setting
  • Working knowledge of a range of healthcare IT systems
  • Practical and Intellectual Skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills, including high level of accuracy and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision and/or as part of a team.
  • Sound time- management skills - able to manage own workload and prioritise to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
