Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the supervisory team at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. The post holder will supervise and organise the domestic team, ensuring rotas are covered and work schedules are adjusted to meet service needs and maintain cleaning standards. Responsibilities include training staff, conducting appraisals, and managing performance to ensure compliance with Trust policies and health and safety practices. The role requires flexibility to cover leave and sickness.
Essential criteria
- NVQ Level 3 in leadership (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience at a supervisory level
- Previous experience of cleaning
Desirable criteria
- Previous cleaning experience at a supervisory level within a healthcare environment
- Previous experience of cleaning within a healthcare environment
- An understanding of C.O.S.H.H. regulations
- Health and safety basic knowledge
- An understanding of the operating of cleaning machinery
- Excellent Communication skills
- Basic data inputting either manually or using a computer/tablet
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent organisation skills

Job summary

- Tuesday - Friday 3pm-8pm
