Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Senior Clinical Educator to lead clinical education and practice development across Womens Services at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Based cross-city, you will develop registered, unregistered and medical colleagues; support educators, mentors, assessors and trainers; and help ensure learning environments deliver safe, evidence-based and compassionate care.

You will combine visible clinical leadership with excellent teaching, coaching and quality-improvement skills. Working with matrons, clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams, you will shape education programmes, strengthen competency and preceptorship pathways, use audit and feedback to improve practice, and support staff to reach their full potential.

Main duties of the job

The job holder will play a lead role in ensuring the development of clinical staff both registered, unregistered and medical. The job holder will enable the development of clinical practice mentors, assessors and key trainers, providing supervision through on-site support and Trustwide continuous professional development activities.
