Role summary
This role involves maintaining and developing systems and applications within the Blood Sciences Laboratories, specifically supporting the Winpath enterprise (WPE) laboratory system. Job summary
To maintain and develop systems and applications within the Blood sciences Laboratories under the guidance of the Biochemistry Laboratory Manager and Senior Analyst/Programmer.
Members of the LIMS IT Support team provide user and system support, covering the diagnostic laboratories of OUH. Liaising further afield with colleagues across the South 4 Pathology Partnership. The post holder will play a supporting role within the structure to ensure service continuity and development.
The post-holders will be self-motivated team players with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and a methodical approach to tasks. As members of the team, they will demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
Main duties of the job
As part of the team provide Day to Day support of the Winpath enterprise (WPE) laboratory system. As part of on call system endure lab operational capability 24/7 across multiple departments.
Work closely with the EPR team to manage changes in WPE and EPR.
Assist with statistical analysis, data collection, and audit support.
