Role summary
This role is for an IT Project and Technical Support Officer to join the Technical Services team. The officer will support the delivery, deployment, and ongoing use of IT systems and digital services across the Trust. Key responsibilities include coordinating small IT projects, resolving technical issues, supporting staff with technology, and maintaining accurate asset records. The role requires strong communication, organisational skills, and a practical approach to problem-solving, with travel to Trust sites across Derbyshire.
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level in an IT, technical, project management or business-related subject, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Relevant experience of working in an IT, technical support, digital, project support or service delivery environment.
- Experience of working with suppliers, service providers or internal technical teams to support delivery of IT services.
- Previous experience of providing IT system support in a healthcare environment.
Desirable criteria
- Experience working in an NHS environment
- Experience using an IT Service Management system such as Halo
- Microsoft, networking, endpoint, telecommunications or mobile device management qualification/training.

Job summary
