This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the Surgical Assessment Unit (SAU) at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. - Degree/Diploma in Nursing/Health studies

Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our friendly Surgical Assessment Unit (SAU). This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the emergency surgical team at a pivotal time, as we continue to develop and expand our Same Day Emergency Care service for patients referred from a variety of sources, including the Emergency Department and GPs.
As a Band 5 Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, compassionate, effective & inclusive care to patients attending the Surgical Assessment Unit. You will work as part of a larger team to assess, monitor, and support patients throughout their attendance, ensuring excellent patient experience and outcomes.
Working within SAU provides a varied and rewarding environment, offering opportunities to develop a broad range of clinical skills. As part of your role, you will be required to complete and achieve sign-off of the relevant clinical competencies.
