Role summary

This is a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker role within the Stroke & General Rehab Inpatient Unit at Evesham Community Hospital, working 23 hours a week. The successful candidate will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve rehabilitation goals for patients. This opportunity offers a challenging and exciting environment to develop new and existing skills in providing patient care. The role focuses on reducing length of stay while ensuring excellent, safe, and compassionate care.

Essential criteria

  • Basic knowledge of nursing adults and / or training

Desirable criteria

  • Basic IT Skills
  • Experience of working in a care environment
  • Nursing experience within the NHS / Hospital Setting
  • Experience of working in general medicine or rehabilitation
  • Additional Criteria
  • I understand that the Trust will not routinely provide sponsorship to work for this role, and employment on a time limited visa doesnt guarantee sponsorship at point of expiry.
  • Willingness to undertake further training
  • Vocational qualification level 3 or equivalent / level 2 qualification in care and willing to undertake relevant level 3 qualification upon appointment or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Care Certificate or expected to gain within 12 weeks of commencing in Trust.
  • Willing and able to undertake Safety Intervention training
  • I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
