Role summary

  • Demonstrable proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write, modify and troubleshoot queries to support reporting, data analysis, system configuration and problem resolution.
  • Proficiency in XML, including the ability to read, interpret and modify XML used in system configuration, forms, templates or data exchange processes.
  • Strong understanding of digital systems change processes
  • Experience contributing to Change Advisory Boards for clinical applications

Main duties of the job

The Clinical Applications Team is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Systems Support Specialist to support, maintain and develop the Trust's Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems and associated clinical applications.

Working within a specialist team, you will provide support for clinical systems including RiO, SystmOne and integrated digital solutions that support patient care and operational services across the Trust. You will investigate and resolve system issues, manage user access and configuration requests, implement system enhancements, and provide advice and guidance to staff to ensure the safe and effective use of clinical applications.
