Role summary
This role involves coordinating and facilitating the virtual Recovery and Wellbeing College provision, supporting students and co-facilitators. You will manage administration tasks, liaise with partners, and promote the college across localities. The position requires knowledge of the local area's needs and services, and the ability to use lived experience to support community wellbeing. It is a part-time, hybrid role with home-based work and travel to community and NHS venues.
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of the defining features of a recovery college and the ethos, Awareness of a range of different training and facilitation methods
- Ability to teach and facilitate subjects related to recovery and self-management
- Good range of IT skills including use of excel & power-point
- Organisational skills and ability to time manage training, managerial and administrative demands
- Excellent interpersonal and written skills
- Ability to deliver training and effective learning outcomes

- Attended Recovery College Courses/Workshops
- Experience of dealing professionally with people experiencing difficult situations
- Current experience and evidence of using lived experience in a work/voluntary capacity
- Personal/close relational experience of health & Wellbeing recovery and use of supportive services
- Able to communicate with people at all levels within the organisation
- Experience working in an educational/ training establishment
- Training, Qualifications and Registration
- Evidence of study at Diploma Level and above.

Job summary

As a Locality Co-ordinator you will have knowledge of your locality, it's needs, and the services within the geographical area. You will be encouraged to utilise your expertise in new ways to support the wellbeing of people in the community, and develop your skills. You will work in a key role supporting students, facilitators, and coordinating the Recovery and Wellbeing College course delivery alongside an innovative team.
This role includes hybrid, home based work using digital technology. This post is part time (up to 30 hrs/week).
You will be required to travel to community and NHS venues in Kent & Medway.
