Job summary
In partnership with the multidisciplinary team the post holder will be part of the provision of a TB Specialist Nursing Service, delivering high quality clinical care. The post holder will develop specialist knowledge and skills and be a key clinician in the provision of advice, education and support to colleagues, patients, families and carers. They will participate in clinical audit and service evaluation within the specialist field. They will also be responsible for contributing to the on-going development of clinical and community practice, standards of care within the service including development of policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. The post holder will participate in the delivery of educational programmes for patients and Multidisciplinary team. This post involves combination of nurse-led screening clinics and community (visiting patients within their homes).
This role involves carrying out home visits as part of the service. Therefore, applicants must possess a valid UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle to fulfil the requirements of the post.
