Role summary

This role is for a Pharmacy Administrative Assistant within the Medicines Finance Team at King's College Hospital. We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Administrative Assistant to join the Medicines Finance Team. With over 12000 patients accessing homecare services at King's College Hospital, this is an opportunity to join a progressive and expanding team. Working with our clinicians and the Pharmacy Homecare Team, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition of care between hospital and homecare medicines services.

Main duties of the job

As our Administrative Assistant, Medicines Finance, you will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for the Medicines Finance Team, handling telephone calls and enquiries from patients, GPs, clinicians and staff with professionalism and discretion
  • Manage the Homecare database, ensuring patient demographic details are accurate
