Essential criteria
- Experience of monitoring staff performance Managerial experience. Several years proven experience at a middle managerial post in a mental health setting Experience of working within a forensic setting
- Experience of working with criminal justice agencies Proven experience in Medicines Management
- Knowledge of mental health issues
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Knowledge of the Code of Practice,
- Knowledge of the CPA process Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act
- Knowledge of government guidance/issues surrounding standards of care and audit requirements Understanding of recovery principles in Mental Health
- Post Registration Qualification and experience in a health or social care subject. (e.g. RMN, RGN, Social Work, OT, Psychology) Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- Recognised management training and qualification or willingness to work toward it
