Role summary

Key responsibilities
- Lead on and provide specialist HR advice and support on employee relations issues, policies, and best practice.
- Undertake employee relations casework including complex disciplinary, grievance, capability performance and sickness absence management casework.
- Work collaboratively with managers, leaders, and Trade Union representatives to resolve ER matters effectively.
Essential criteria
- Thorough understanding of contemporary HR practices.
- Significant demonstrable experience of Human Resources issues in a large complex organisation including sickness absence management, employment law and performance management issues, and intricate / multi-faceted employee relations issues.
- Leads on and manages a defined ER Caseload
- Provides advice and support to HR Advisors & Officers across the department.
- Demonstrable experience of supporting the implementation of organisational change
- Proven knowledge of Equality and associated legislation.
- Proven knowledge and understanding of key NHS issues including national and local policy drivers
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and guidelines to meet the needs and values of the Trust and the requirements of employment legislation, NHS Employers guidance and best practice.
- Promote the effective implementation of agreed best practice through both HR and managers within the Trust
Desirable criteria
- Experience in supporting and preparing case papers for Employment Tribunal.
- Understanding of Restorative Just and Learning Culture and Kindness into Action principals
- Experience of supervising or managing staff

Job summary
Following a restructure, we are looking for two Senior HR Advisors to join our team on a fixed term basis to provide additional capacity during a period of change and transformation. Both roles are offered as fixed term contracts for 12 months from your start date.
We offer flexible and hybrid working with the expectation that you can be onsite at our corporate HR office in Littlemore, Oxford. As well as travel as required to our Trust sites to attend meetings. The ability to travel between sites via your own transport is required.
Main duties of the job
Reporting into one of our HR Business Partners and working closely with the Employee Relations Specialist, you will provide advice and guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters. You will work within a designated areas of the Trust providing a high quality and responsive human resource advisory service.
You will:
