Role summary
This role is for a Speech and Language Therapist to join the Berkshire Healthcare CYPIT service, an integrated children's therapy team. Key responsibilities
- Work as part of the Children and Young Peoples Integrated Therapy team under the direction of a Band 7 Operational Lead, functioning as an autonomous clinician.
- Deliver a high standard of speech and language therapy care to children with developmental and complex needs in various settings.
- Undertake clinical sessions and manage a caseload, offering direct assessment, advice, signposting, intervention, training, and support.
- Investigate, interpret, and analyse clinical and non-clinical facts to form accurate clinical diagnosis, evaluation, and prognosis.
- Function as an autonomous clinician, supporting other more junior staff and accessing high level, specialist advice in highly complex cases.
Essential criteria
- Community post so a car driver with access to own car and willingness to work across Berkshire would be highly preferable.
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist, registered with HCPC.
- Experience working within Paediatrics is highly desirable.
