Role summary
This role is for a motivated and skilled Therapeutic Radiographer to join the radiotherapy team at the state-of-the-art Dyson Cancer Centre. You will deliver safe, accurate, and compassionate care to patients throughout their treatment journey, working with highly specialised equipment. Essential criteria
- Therapeutic Radiography Degree or equivalent
- HCPC registered

Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Radiographer to join our radiotherapy team, delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate care to patients throughout their treatment journey.
You will work as part of our friendly, collaborative and forward thinking radiotherapy team delivering high-quality radiotherapy treatment and associated imaging using highly specialised equipment.
The role involves full accountability for patient care, supporting and supervising junior staff and students, and helping ensure an efficient flow of patients through pre-treatment, treatment areas, and the radiotherapy department as a whole.
You will be based in our state of the art Dyson Cancer Centre which opened in 2024 at the RUH. It was purpose-built to change the way we deliver cancer care. This flagship facility is more than just bricks and mortar - it's a place of hope, innovation, and healing; creating a beautiful environment to work in.
Main duties of the job
- Maintain high professional standards
- Assess patients' status and suitability for procedures.
- Provide information, practical and emotional support to patients and their carers.
