Role summary

This is a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist post within the Adolescent Team at Greenwich CAMHS. The role involves providing highly specialist clinical psychology services, including assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions for young people with complex mental health needs. The post holder will contribute to psychologically informed care through consultation, supervision, and advice, and will have opportunities to supervise trainees and contribute to service development.   • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent

  • Other relevant qualification (eg MSc, Post Grad diploma)
  • Training in specialist therapy relevant to post

  • Experience of working with children and young people in NHS settings
  • Experience of consulting to other professionals and agencies
  • Experience of MDT working in the NHS
  • Experience of supervising

Job summary

Greenwich CAMHS is pleased to offer a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist post within the Adolescent Team. We welcome applications from trainees qualifying this year and current Band 7 psychologists seeking to broaden their experience.

The post holder will provide a highly specialist clinical psychology service to young people with complex mental health needs, including assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions. The multidisciplinary team works within an Adaptive Mentalization-Based Integrative Treatment (AMBIT) framework, supporting collaborative work with young people, families and professional networks.

The successful candidate will play a key role within a supportive psychology discipline and multidisciplinary team, contributing to psychologically informed care through consultation, supervision and advice. The role offers opportunities to supervise Trainee Clinical Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists, contribute to service development and Quality Improvement projects, and develop leadership skills.

The post holder will join a supportive psychology team within Greenwich CAMHS, benefiting from high-quality supervision, CPD opportunities and psychology networks across the three Oxleas boroughs.
