Role summary
This role supports the smooth running of outpatient services by providing high-quality administrative support. The post holder will manage outpatient bookings, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and meet Government Access Targets using the electronic Referral System (eRS). Key responsibilities include coordinating clinic schedules and maintaining accurate patient data in computerised systems. - Knowledge of record systems/data bases
- Previous database management experience

- Awareness of NHS Targets for 18 Weeks
- Working knowledge of Hospital Systems
- Experience of validation
- Minimum of 3 GCSE'S, including English and Maths or equivalent
- Good standard of education
- Excellent comminucation skills - written and verbal
- Previous admin/clerical experience
- Advanced keyboard skills
- Good organisational skills
- Awareness of confidentiality issues
- Previous admin experience
- Personal skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills - able to converse in a positive manner at all levels
- Ability to adapt to change within working situation
- Ability to prioritise workload and work on own initiative with limited supervision
