Role summary
The EOC Senior Clinical Advisor assesses health and clinical needs using evidence-based practice and decision support software to achieve safe clinical outcomes for patients. Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is recruiting Senior Clinical Advisors for our Emergency Operations Centres (999) in Wakefield and York. With exciting developments planned over the next few years, we are seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed individuals to support these changes.
Applicants must be NMC RN1 or HCPC Paramedic registered. We cannot accept an NMC PRN Pin as it does not meet the role's essential criteria.
This advert is open to internal and external applicants.
Internal paramedic applicants may work 100% as an EOC Senior Clinical Advisor or choose a rotational role of five weeks in their A&E operational role followed by five weeks in EOC. Your preference will be requested during the application process. This vacancy is for the Wakefield and York call centres only; Remote Hub vacancies will be advertised separately when available.
Training: You will begin on a training contract and move to a permanent contract after successfully completing training. Homeworking is not available.
