The role involves providing professional leadership, clinical support, and delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a fast-paced PICU environment. The successful candidate will work flexibly across a seven-day rota.
Essential criteria
- Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification
- Post graduate qualification or experience
- Specialist qualification or equivalent level in skills and development
- Knowledge of common mental health problems and medication used in relation to these
- Knowledge and practice of Mental Health Act 1983 & Mental Capacity Act 2005
- Knowledge of common mental health problems and medication used in relation to these
- Post-graduation experience in mental health nursing
- Experience of assessing, planning and implementing and reviewing care needs
- Experience of interacting therapeutically with distress and /or disturbed individuals
- Education
