Role summary
This is a fixed-term Foundation Pharmacist role for newly qualified pharmacists in North Wales. The successful candidate will work in primary care and community services, participating in a structured training program. They will rotate across various departments to develop clinical skills and contribute to patient care within integrated clinical pharmacy teams. The role focuses on influencing treatment decisions and improving patient outcomes.
Essential criteria
- MPharm Degree or equivalent
- Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Knowledge of clinical pharmacy
- Good knowledge of therapeutics
- Knowledge of electronic and manual information sources
Desirable criteria
- Practicing member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society
- Post Graduate MSc/Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
- Training qualification
- Must be able to demonstrate suitable level of experience working in the managed sector and/or community pharmacy
- Experience of patient-orientated medicines systems
- Aptitudes and Abilities
- Good verbal/written communication skills
- Organisational ability
- Other
- Participate in the provision of general public holiday and weekend pharmacy services as necessary
- Willingness to participate in on-call roster as necessary
- Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner
