Role summary

This part-time role is for an enthusiastic Psychiatric Nurse to join the North and South GP Integrated Mental Health Services (IMHS) team. You will assist service users within their Primary Care Network (PCN) and contribute to building relationships within the local PCN. Responsibilities include participating in Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings and supervising Community Connectors. The role involves assessing mental health, offering holistic treatment plans, and providing brief interventions.

Job summary

North and South GP Integrated Mental Heath Services (IMHS) are seeking an enthusiastic Psychiatric Nurse to join the team.

Please note the role is part time, 3days. Working days can be discussed at the interview.

As the Psychiatric Nurse, you will assist the service users within their Primary Care Network (PCN). Alsowill actively contribute to building and sustaining relationships within the local PCN.

This engagement extends to regular participation in Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings (MDTs), including medication meetings, pathways forums, GP meetings and local CMHRS meetings. Additionally, MHPs supervise Community Connectors (CCs), and provide caseload management supervision for additional roles (e.g. LXP, trainee MHWP), ensuring effective collaboration and optimal service user care.

Subject to reasonable adjustments in respect of any disability, candidates must possess a valid driving licence and be able to drive and have the unrestricted use of a car or motorcycle for work at all times including community based work.
