University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an ambitious and inspiringSenior Harm Free Care Practitioner (Band 7)with particular focus on fallsto join our Corporate Nursing team.
This is a unique opportunity to become a recognised expert within the Trust's Patient Safety Team, leading Harm Free Care initiatives that reduce avoidable harm, improve patient outcomes and enhance patient experience. Working closely with the Head of Patient Safety, Lead for Harm Free Care and multidisciplinary teams, you will champion best practice across key patient safety priorities including falls prevention, deteriorating patient management, pressure ulcer prevention and venous thromboembolism (VTE) prevention.
As a visible clinical leader, you will influence Trust-wide quality improvement programmes, support the development of a strong patient safety culture, lead innovative projects and ensure learning from incidents is translated into sustainable improvements for patients and staff.
