Role summary

This role is for a Digital and Project Support Officer within the Families Health & Wellbeing Service (0-19), providing administrative, digital, and project support. The officer will ensure effective delivery of service improvement initiatives, projects, and day-to-day operational activities. Key responsibilities include acting as a contact for project enquiries, managing communications and digital platforms, and assisting with financial and administrative processes. This is an internal-only vacancy for MPFT staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and digital support to the 0-19 Service.
  • Support delivery of 0-19 projects and service improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the first point of contact for project-related enquiries.
  • Manage service social media accounts and website content.
  • Organise and support meetings, including agenda preparation, minute taking, and follow-up actions.
  • Support ordering, invoices, and budget-related administration.

Essential criteria

  • Minimum 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English Language and Mathematics
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration
  • Competent in the use of word processing, internet and Microsoft office packages - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote
  • Experience of communicating with people across all levels.
  • Providing a full service to meetings, including minute/accurate note taking.
  • High standard of verbal and written communication skills, able to generate own correspondence and reports
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and to prioritise/organise workload
  • Use of Microsoft suite of Office tools
  • Ability to prioritise multiple interdependent tasks and plan and organise a broad range of complex activities

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of working within a similar role.
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Project
  • Experience of E-Procurement
  • Has current or previous experience of working within Universal Services -Children's and Families Care Group
  • Proficient in the use of social media platforms in a professional environment
  • An understanding of NHS systems, applications and processes
