Role summary
The AI Specialist provides technical expertise in AI, data science, and automation within CITS. This role involves leading the technical development of AI and machine learning adoption, applying advanced data science methods to generate insights, and supporting the design and implementation of automation solutions. The specialist will engage with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring compliance with governance standards and contributing to the Trust's AI roadmap. Essential criteria
- Educated to Degree level or able to demonstrate proven equivalent experience in AI or related discipline
- ITIL Foundation

- Understanding of NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit
- Prince 2 Foundation
- Practical experience using Microsoft Copilot Studio to design, build, and support AI-enabled automation, productivity, and insight-generation solutions
- Stakeholder management experience
- Experience delivering technical implementations
- Experience of designing and implementing compliance or hardware reports
- Experience in creating processes and procedures
- Experience in creating business cases

Job summary
