Role summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join the Exeter Liaison Psychiatry team at Wonford House. The role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to a multi-disciplinary clinical team, including managing a shared inbox, generating letters, entering referrals, and minute taking. Essential criteria

  • Business Administration Level 3 / T Level qualification in Management and Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • GCSE English grade A to C or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continuing professional and personal development.
  • Intermediate IT skills in Microsoft Office Packages, ie Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience or understanding of creating electronic records, electronic filing systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to change when required. Previous experience of working within an administrative or secretarial team.
  • Ability to take accurate formal and informal minutes.
  • Experience of dealing with confidential and complex information.

Desirable criteria

  • ICDL (International Computer Driving License), or equivalent experience.
  • Previous NHS administrative experience working in a Healthcare or Social Care setting.
  • Demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Experience of general office routine and filing systems.
