Role summary
This role involves providing high-quality service and support to Theatres for all Inventory Management activities. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Trauma and Orthopaedic Supplies Supervisor to ensure a smooth logistical flow of goods. Key responsibilities include managing purchase orders, receipt and distribution, implantable devices, general stock, and stock rotation. The position requires knowledge of stock control and excellent communication skills.
Essential criteria
- 3 GCSE's at grade C or above to include English and Maths
- Experience in Inventory Management
- Use of an electronic stock management system
- Computer literate with experience of using Microsoft software
- Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels of an organisation

Job summary
Two roles based at The Friarage Hospital, Northallerton

The successful candidate will be expected to provide high quality service and support to Theatres in relation to all Inventory Management activities. Working under the supervision of the Trauma and Orthopaedic Supplies Supervisor, the successful candidate will be expected to ensure a smooth logistical flow of goods throughout Theatres and additional areas.
The role requires the candidate to have knowledge and experience of stock control, supplies/stores functions and providing excellent levels of customer service. The ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organisation is an essential requirement.
This is a physically demanding role, and the successful candidate must understand and consistently follow all Health and Safety requirements related to manual and object handling.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high quality service and support to Theatres in relation to, but not limited to;
Purchase orders
Receipt & Distribution
Implantable device management
General stock management
Stock rotation and managing reduction in waste
