Role summary

Key responsibilities

  • Provide a lead role in the day-to-day management and production of clinical prescriptions.
  • Coordinate an efficient and effective clinical administrative service to STaRS Services.
  • Manage workload and ensure information is communicated appropriately and enquiries are directed correctly.
  • Ensure data quality and timelines meet Inclusion and STaRS targets.
  • Manage Health and Safety requirements for administrative staff and site common areas.

Essential criteria

  • Possession of recognised supervisory management qualification to BTEC or equivalent
  • Educated to NVQ Level 4 standard or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
  • OCR (RSA) Text Production and Word Processing Level 3
  • Driving License and access to a vehicle - need to travel as role is county wide
  • Recent significant experience in a similar role, including the supervision of staff.
  • Working experience of administrative and financial policies and procedures.
  • Experience of prescription management.
