Role summary
This role is for an experienced HR professional to join the People Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of Trust-wide projects, including research, data analysis, and making suggestions.
- Work on the HR policy review process, researching legislation, drafting revised policies, and suggesting improvements.
- Support the development of new policies and processes based on legislation, NHS guidance, and research.
- Assist with collating information for Freedom of Information and Data Subject Access Requests, drafting responses.
- Support the coordination of Employment Tribunal casework, including evidence collation, meeting arrangements, and deadline monitoring.
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience of providing generalist HR advice to managers on a broad range of HR issues
- Experience of supporting the delivery of projects
- Advanced keyboard skills and an ability to analyse and interpret data
- Ability to use workforce data systems to generate data and reports
- Ability to prepare written reports and present information and data to managers and staff in a way which is meaningful and relevant
- Excellent organisational and time management skillsto ensure the delivery of projects
- An understanding of the NHS job evaluation system
- An understanding ofcurrentNHS terms and conditions of serviceand anup to dateknowledge of employment legislation
- Ability to travel to multiple sites
