Role summary
This role is for a Registered Nurse or Midwife to join the Health Visiting service in Hampshire. You will work as part of a 0-19 public health nursing team, identifying health needs with children and families, and planning and delivering evidence-based interventions. The service is known for its innovative approach, including digital health tools and community partnerships. The role offers ongoing learning, development, and a robust induction program.
Key responsibilities
- Identify health needs with children and families.
- Plan, deliver, and review appropriate and evidence-based interventions in agreement with the Health Visitor.
- Develop close working relationships with Barnardo's workers to support preventative community-based approaches.
- Deliver appropriately delegated commissioned elements of the Healthy Child Programme.

Job summary

We are looking for nurses who are highly skilled in communication, with a strong approach to teamwork. The individual will be someone who is able to deliver appropriately delegated commissioned elements of the Healthy Child Programme as a member of the 0-19 public health nursing service.
